Q: Is Calvary St. Andrew’s still active congregation?

A: No. The former Calvary St. Andrew’s congregation held it’s final worship service on Easter Sunday, 2017.

But – On October 1, 2018 The Open Arms Metropolitan Community Church rented the sanctuary to hold worship services beginning on October 7, 2018. This new congregation only rents the sanctuary and chapel 1 day per week, plus other space during the week.

A: ROC SALT – ROChester Serving And Learning Together is a new initiative of the Presbytery of the Genesee Valley. It is an umbrella of programs (a mission immersion program, a food cupboard, and a community events program) focused on learning about and ministering to the needs of Rochester’s urban community.
